**Pictures of fittings inserted into a hose reel are loosely threaded only to show where each fitting needs to be placed. When actually installing, please use teflon tape and tighten fittings correctly.
Description
This kit can be used to adapt a 1/2″ FPT plumbed hose reel to a 3/8″ high pressure reel OR convert to a 3/4″ inlet reel.
Kit Includes:
- (2) Plated Steel 3/8″ FPT x 1/2″ MPT High Pressure Bushings
- (1) Brass 3/4″ FGH x 1/2″ MPT Swivel Garden Hose Inlet Fitting
- (1) Brass 3/4″ Barb x 1/2″ MPT
Install:
- Teflon tape recommended to install fittings
- To convert to 3/8″ high pressure reel: Install (1) Plated Steel 3/8″ FPT x 1/2″ MPT High Pressure Bushing to the 1/2″ FPT hose reel manifold pipe & the second bushing to the 1/2″ FPT hose reel swivel.
- To convert to a 3/4″ inlet hose reel: Install 3/4″ FGH x 1/2″ MPT Swivel Garden Hose Inlet Fitting to the 1/2″ FPT hose reel manifold pipe and the Brass 3/4″ Barb x 1/2″ MPT to the 1/2″ FPT hose reel swivel. This allows you to use a 3/4″ hose to plumb to your pressure washer or to the water tank.
